[ES] Hay proyectos que diseñas. Y luego están los que construyes desde cero, como si estuvieras creando un universo paralelo con banda sonora propia.

Margo es un grupo de indie rock español que necesitaba algo más que un logo: necesitaba una identidad que sonara tan fuerte como su música. El punto de partida estaba claro, ritual, desértico, místico, con presencia anima, pero había que bajarlo a tierra (o mejor dicho, a arena).

Desarrollé todo el branding completo: logo, sistema visual, ilustraciones y un imaginario gráfico basado en mosaicos de plantas y animales que evocan esa espiritualidad salvaje. Una identidad que mezcla lo orgánico con lo simbólico, lo crudo con lo casi sagrado.

Cada elemento tenía que sentirse parte de un ritual visual: texturas que recuerdan al polvo del desierto, composiciones totémicas y una iconografía que no adorna, sino que cuenta historia.

No diseñé solo una marca, diseñé el escenario donde su música podía existir.

[EN] There are projects you design. And then there are the ones you build from scratch, as if you were creating a parallel universe with its own soundtrack.

Margo is a Spanish indie rock band that needed more than just a logo, they needed an identity that sounded as powerful as their music. The starting point was clear: ritualistic, desert-inspired, mystical, with an animal presence. But it had to be grounded (or better said, brought down to the sand).

I developed the entire branding system: logo, visual language, illustrations, and a graphic universe built around mosaics of plants and animals that evoke a kind of wild spirituality. An identity that blends the organic with the symbolic, the raw with the almost sacred.

Every element had to feel like part of a visual ritual: textures reminiscent of desert dust, totemic compositions, and iconography that doesn’t just decorate, it tells a story.

I didn’t just design a brand, I designed the stage where their music could exist.
